Why would viewers care enough to sit through an entire video of some stranger opening a package? Because the unboxing experience is that important.   • Send a hand-written note - Whether you include a note on the packing slip or incorporate it in some other way, nothing says “personalized” like a note hand-written specifically for each customer.   • Add extra touches to the interior packaging - More often than not, there’s additional packaging on the inside of the exterior shipping box.   • Include an unexpected surprise - Your boxes most likely contain product samples, but why not include a sample or full-sized product your customers aren’t expecting?   • Keep it simple - No matter what design you choose for your shipping box or what you include in it, make sure it’s easy to open. Nothing frustrates customers more than waiting weeks to receive their order, only to spend too much of their time trying to get into the box. If your packaging is complicated, it takes away from the unboxing experience and the anticipation level generally dissipates.
